Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith suffered a concussion in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts and it is uncertain when he will return to game action this season.

Smith Ruled Out vs. Colts Sunday, Oct. 30
The Chiefs announced Smith would not return after his head hit the turf in the second half against Indianapolis. It was the second time Smith was examined for a head injury, having been looked at after taking a hit on a slide in the first quarter.
