Monk: It will only get tougher

Garry Monk says Leeds United’s run in will only get tougher now they know what they are fighting for, starting with Brighton live on Sky Sports on Friday.
Leeds have won five of their last six league matches to rise to fourth in the table, but face second-placed Brighton, who sit seven points ahead of them, at the Amex Stadium this weekend.
Monk has overseen a a revival of fortunes at the Yorkshire club after a slow start to the season, but believes their play-off position could make things more difficult as clubs begin to realise what they can achieve this season.
“Each game for every club becomes harder and more important now, because teams tend to find out now what they are fighting for this season,” Monk told the Leeds website.
“It will be another massive test for us and our young group, but one we want to see the team come through with a good performance.”
