Cahill sidelined by injury

England’s provisional Euro 2016 squad took part in an open training session at St George’s Park on Wednesday evening but Gary Cahill sat out as a precaution.
The Chelsea defender picked up a minor knock at the weekend and was the one absentee from training, with the exception of the players who still have club commitments.
Nick Collins of Sky Sports News HQ reported: “There were 26 names in that provisional squad which Roy Hodgson announced on Monday, eight of which we knew wouldn’t be here – three from Manchester United, because of the FA Cup final, and five missing from Liverpool because of the Europa League final.
