Manchester United, Liverpool Fined by UEFA: Latest Comments and Reaction

Manchester United and Liverpool have both been hit with fines by UEFA stemming from crowd trouble during their UEFA Europa League clashes earlier this season.
As reported by Kristian Walsh of the Liverpool Echo, both clubs have been sanctioned for “illicit chanting,” “crowd disturbances” and “throwing objects,” while United have also been fined for “blocking stairways” and Liverpool have been fined for “setting off fireworks” and “kicking off late.”
Liverpool will be forced to pay a total of £43,577, while United will have to stump up £44,342, per BBC Sport.
