Kane up for England battle

Harry Kane says he cannot afford to relax and will work as hard as possible to keep his place in the England side for Euro 2016.
Unlike some recent international tournaments, England boss Roy Hodgson has a host of attacking options at his disposal with Tottenham striker Kane and Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy having scored 49 goals between them in the Premier League.
Hodgson can also call on Wayne Rooney, although the England captain has been playing in a more withdrawn midfield role recently, as well as Daniel Sturridge and possibly youngster Marcus Rashford.
Kane has no idea what Hodgson’s pecking order looks like heading into England’s final two friendlies before the tournament and that means it is not the time to take things easy.
