Neville set to leave Valencia

Phil Neville is set to leave his role as Valencia coach and has admitted he is keen to make the transition into management.
The former Manchester United defender moved to the Spanish club last summer to become then-manager Nuno Espirito Santo’s assistant, before the latter was sacked and replaced by Phil’s brother Gary.
However, despite Gary departing the club less than four months after joining, Phil remained to assist interim boss Pako Ayestaran, who has since been rewarded with a two-year deal after steering the troubled club to a 12th-place finish in La Liga.
“I think obviously with the naming of Pako as the manager, I think I will be leaving the club and looking for other opportunities,” Neville told PA Sport.
