Maeda, Thompson and Crawford exit with injuries

NEW YORK — Dodgers starting pitcher Kenta Maeda and outfielders Trayce Thompson and Carl Crawford left Saturday night’s game with injuries believed to be minor.
X-rays were negative on Maeda’s right hand, which was struck by Michael Conforto’s line drive in the first inning. Manager Dave Roberts said Maeda should be OK to make his next start, as he threw 4 1/3 scoreless innings after sustaining the injury that left his hand significantly swollen.
Thompson was removed after the top of the fifth inning with lower back soreness …
