Yo day to day, but pinch-hits in Sunday’s loss

MIAMI — A day after he was a late scratch with a sore right hip, outfielder Yoenis Cespedes felt better, but he was still not in the Mets’ starting lineup for their 1-0 loss to the Marlins. Cespedes remains day to day, and he could return to the lineup as soon as Monday in Pittsburgh.
Cespedes flied out to right in a pinch-hit at-bat in the eighth inning of Sunday’s loss.
With Cespedes and Juan Lagares shelved, and David Wright, Lucas Duda and Travis d’Arnaud all on the disabled list for the foreseeable future, the Mets proceeded on Sunday with a lineup composed of four players not on their Opening Day …
