Twitter A Turn-Off For Emily Seebohm As She Tunes Into Singular Focus Four Years On

Double World Champion Emily Seebohm has turned Twitter off, said farewell to Facebook and told all social media ‘see ya after the Rio Olympic Games‘.
Four years ago at London, she clocked what remains the swiftest effort in a textile suit in history (58.23) in the heats of the 100m backstroke, came close twice more but has to settle for silver behind Missy Franklin in the Olympic final. She said at the time:
“I just felt like I didn’t really get off social media and get into my own head. When people tell you a thousand times ‘You’ll get the gold’, somewhere in your mind you are going to say ‘you’ve done it’.”
