U.S. Cellular to become Guaranteed Rate Field

The Chicago White Sox and Guaranteed Rate have agreed on a 13-year naming rights agreement that will change the title of the team’s home ballpark beginning Nov. 1, the team announced Wednesday.
The White Sox ballpark, called U.S. Cellular Field since 2003, will become Guaranteed Rate Field following the 2016 season. The Illinois Sports Facilities Authority, which owns and operates the ballpark, approved the name change in a board meeting Wednesday.
